Tramadol 100mg

Tramadol 100mg is a centrally-acting opioid analgesic indicated for the management of moderate to severe pain. It acts as a mu-opioid receptor agonist and inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, providing dual analgesic action.

Dosage & Administration One tablet (100mg) taken orally every 4–6 hours as required. Maximum recommended daily dose is 400mg. Adjust dose in elderly patients and those with renal or hepatic impairment. Take with or without food.

Indications Moderate to severe acute and chronic pain, including post-operative pain and pain associated with cancer or musculoskeletal conditions.

Contraindications Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Tramadol, acute intoxication with alcohol or CNS depressants, uncontrolled epilepsy, or concurrent use of MAO inhibitors. Not recommended in severe renal or hepatic impairment.

Side Effects May include nausea, dizziness, constipation, headache, and drowsiness. Risk of seizures, serotonin syndrome, and opioid dependence. Avoid abrupt discontinuation.

Storage Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
