Modafinil 200mg

Modafinil 200mg is a wakefulness-promoting agent (eugeroic) used to treat excessive daytime sleepiness associated with narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), and shift work sleep disorder (SWSD). It is believed to work via selective inhibition of dopamine reuptake.

Dosage & Administration One tablet (200mg) taken orally once daily, in the morning. For shift work disorder, take 1 hour before the start of the work shift. May be taken with or without food.

Indications Narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnoea (as adjunct to CPAP therapy), and shift work sleep disorder.

Contraindications Not suitable for patients with hypersensitivity to Modafinil or Armodafinil. Use with caution in cardiovascular disease, psychiatric disorders, or hepatic impairment.

Storage Store below 25°C, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
