Clonazepam 2mg

Clonazepam 2mg is a long-acting benzodiazepine indicated for the management of epilepsy, panic disorder, and certain anxiety states. It enhances the effect of the neurotransmitter GABA to produce anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, and sedative effects.

Dosage & Administration Dosage is individualised. For anxiety and panic disorder, 0.5–2mg may be taken 1–3 times daily. For epilepsy, dosing is determined by a physician. Take orally with or without food.

Indications Epilepsy (including absence seizures and myoclonic epilepsy), panic disorder, and generalised anxiety disorder.

Contraindications Not suitable for patients with severe hepatic impairment, acute narrow-angle glaucoma, or myasthenia gravis. Use with caution in patients with respiratory depression. Not recommended during pregnancy.
